When it comes to meeting places we almost always come to think of three possibilities:

Number 1: Our own office (or our counterpart)

Number 2: A Starbucks.

Number 3: "thanks" to the Covid Pandemic.... our own home in a virtual meeting.

About number one, it's the usual practice and for the most part is also a correct decision. Number two is a more informal approach, usually chosen to ease the mood of the meeting, more relaxed and comfortable... but... I think it can be less productive, the environment is pretty noisy and crowded. Not ideal if you ask me.

Number 3 has something like a home office environment if we are lucky. I suggest you try to keep it more private, less noisy and that you prepare yourself "dressed for success" including the "half down" ...just in case.

Now that we are getting back to normal... or at least something more related to the way we used to work, let me suggest a fourth option that I've found not only much more appealing but actually promising on all the benefits around it:

Number 4 is a Hotel Lobby or Cafe: The one I show you in the video is the JW Marriott in Lima, with a wonderful sea view, much more quieter and business wise. It also adds to your personal professional image.

I encourage to take a look on which hotels are nearby your own office or your client's and suggest to have meetings there. Wherever you chose , if you go there regularly , the personal will also know you and you'll have another image enhancer on your side to make a great impression.
